on my cleric alt tasha i did the quest that mrisaala the ancient in eastern wastes offers. i actually did the quest to get a devilbane but it offers multiple rewards and i wanted to see what else mrisaala had to offer as a reward. so i gave my devilbane back to mrisaala and got a reward that turned out to be a pair of gloves. i didn't like those gloves as much as devilbane and so i decided to do the quest again. once again i collected all the items that mrisaala demands in the quest text. but when i tried to turn them in, mrisaala refused to accept them (the same items that i handed in the first time). hmm, i thought: maybe he doesn't give me a reward because i already have 1 of his quest rewards (the gloves). so i destroyed the gloves and tried it again: still no reward, mrisaala just gives back the items instead of accepting them. i dunno why, but for some weird reason tasha can't do this quest any more.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 9 times out of 10, quests that offer an item as a reward are not repeatable, sometimes upgradable, but not repeatable. Most repeatable quests are those that offer faction and/or coin, not items. So I'm guessing that your cleric is flagged as having done the quest and therefore cannot repeat it.
i did this quest more than just once on my main (but that was WAY back in the days...). also why should a quest that offers 3 different rewards (to choose from) be not repeatable? if you don't like the 3rd reward then you should have the opportunity to do it again to get the first or the 2nd reward once again.
