MQ mistake

I had placed my gemstone of learning on my newport ringII, when i went to do MQ today it is gone because when i turned it in for the ring III I never took it off ring. Is there any way this can be fixed?

Supposedly when a MQ aug is deleted or destroyed, it shows up in your bank inventory. Have you checked there yet?
