Monk FD skill

Can anyone confirm the factors that affect the success rate of the monk FD skill besides skill level? Things like current weight, proximity to mobs, etc? Also, do any +FD modifiers exist in SoD?
 
Basically, FD works fine for any monks not named Korinth. Anybody with the name "korinth" and is a Human Monk suffers an innate penalty where their FD only works half the time. Guess you're gonna have to reroll sorry man.
 
No, no. . Syrentor has problems with FD, too. =(

More than one group has now started to refer to Syrentor's RF3 (Rapid Feign 3) as "Rapid Fail 3."

Any information that would help determine what factors affect feign would be useful.
 
I would be very interested in learning a little about FD so I can fufill my dream of being a necro puller for a raid one day!

Does the necro/sk spell cast fd have the same properties as the ability FD that a monk has?

Well for one, monk FD has a chance to fail once you're down - by then it's probably too late to do anything about it.

Necro/SK FD only has a chance to "fail" if you fizzle, or if you're interrupted. (And SKs can get the AA modification that means you never fizzle). Once you're down, it doesn't fail like monks do - there is no "you have fallen to the ground" message for necros or sk's.

When I FD i get the message Zorlaft dies. I dont know about shadowknights though
 
I'm pretty sure it "fails" in some way, even after a fizzle. I'll use it and they'll ignore me while my pet is up....But as soon as i kill it they come back......but on the other hand i've done the SAME thing and they continue to ignore me. So i dunno.

I Would also like to know mechanics behind FD...
