Models spassing out

So I downloaded th eEQ client, run the sod patcher as stated, set eqgame.exe and everything and ran the game, after choosing all the configuration options i get to the character select screen, the problem is that my characters seem to be twiching about, their legs and arms twisting behind them til they either go offscreen or just sort of implode into themselves. Any reason why this is happening or know how to fix it?

Not sure but I think this issue only happens on multicore machines; try enabling the 'Bind Affinity to Processor' option on the patcher to make it only use 1 processor.
