Mez Change FYI

Mez aggro seemed WAY up after last nights patch Melwin. I dont know what was changed, whether it was the memblur or they just generate way more aggro, but after every mez, even after taunting and casting aggro spells on it, it would chase the enchanter around almost the whole fight.

Well, clarification so im not accused of making shit up. This was in our trip to Lord Eldenal last night. I thought that at first my aggro was broken, since normally I didnt have a problem getting mobs off enchanters after mez, but then other people(our 61 SK) started casting aggro spells before and after mez break and it still stuck to Rahl like glue.
 
Some mezzes still had blurs to them, which would reset all hate numbers to 1. This was fixed.
 
Does sublte mezmerization work? Was kinda worried it might not, which is why I havent bought it with Leshar.
 
Well, mezzes have a small memblur component, which is that they make the mob forget a bit of aggro on itself. This way, or at least its what I believe is the reason for that, mobs dont build up too ridiculous of hate against the enchanter.

However, its not supposed to remove it ALL, and apparantly thats what some of them were doing.

If I get the function of an enchanter right, they are supposed to mez mobs, besides anything else they can do, so the mob stops attacking, or changes target, but if the mob gets lots of aggro with the enchanter, looks like a dead character then :brow: unless there are some chances the mob doesnt fully aggro the enchanter, that is.
 
Well, thats certainly true, which is why I didnt mind how it was before, with some mezzes not generating much aggro. Then again, its prolly too good then if mezzes arent doing that, so like coltaine said, guess ill buy subtle mez.
