Melee Skills Cap

Currently bard melee skills cap at 235, and offense caps at 220.
With the recent changes cleric/druid/shaman melee skills cap at 225, and offense caps at 225, which is higher then the bard offense cap
Is this intended?

Bards get a double attack AA. What else is there to be looked out? They're not supposed to get it earlier.
 
I know that...but how much of an increase od dps would raising the caps up produce. Obviously it's going to be more attack but I'm interested to know how of an increase that is.

I don't know what this request has to do with double attack. Honestly, I don't know what you're referring to about double attack at all.

As for hard numbers about DPS increase... I'm not sure, and I don't know if Wiz wants that released.
