Does anyone have the maps for the SoD zones that we can over write the other ones?

You're not patching anything when you log into SoD, so no.

I don't even think the maps were downloaded on the old patcher, there was a downloadable zip file on the old site.

Thanks for the rehost Quinthius. It helped me out a lot.

This is just my opinion, but until the maps get hosted on the SoD site, I think this thread should be stickied so it doesn't get lost in the thread shuffle.

Is that map pack any different then the one that is included with the "files.zip" you download from http://www.shardsofdalaya.com/patcher/Files.zip

when you unzip that to your EQ Folder.. it contains a maps folder with SoD maps. I'll compaire them and see if its all the same.. I expect them to be identical.

There were no maps provided by files.zip when I last downloaded it... just now I grabbed it and it does seem to have maps so I assume they are SoD maps and that would be the reason for sodmaps.zip going missing...

necessary? no, but very useful.

Last I recall the new patcher downloads the map files for you.

The files downloaded by the patcher were actually newer, so I was a bit puzzled....
