make a non/semi/both server???

i think that would be cool...what do you guys think?

people who have played eq emu know what im talking about. basically in non legit servers people get to use commands to summon items, raise their skills, level, zone etc. it seems boring, and yes it does get a little boring, but thats where people chip in to create quests, mobs, items that are extremely uber and also raise the lvl limit to 99 or make new AA's.

semi legit servers are similar to non legits, except people might not be able to raise their own lvl at will or raise skills. i think semi legits are really fun because although u can summon items and such, you still must level like normal, since many weaps/armor have req or recomended lvls. my idea of a good semi legit server is having the ability to search/summon items and zone using commands, but have to kill mobs in order to lvl. lvl cap would be 99 and there would be like 100 + custom aa's. some items would not be summonable, such as epics or rediculously uber armor/weap that you can get from custom quests.

i realize that its probably not gonna happen but its such a sweet idea.

The so called legit server of S2k was really really boring after you reached max level. Epics at lvl 10. All the spells handed to you. Bone chips sell for like 2pp or more each. You didnt really have to work for anything. I had a set of high end Planar equipment without even trying. After you reached max level there was nothing to do.

No, I think I prefer the way this server is run. (Even if I do bitch too much )
