Make 2hb's swing like staves instead of 2hs's, please? :)

aiee that annoys me too but not as much.
I wish there was a way to make old school models swing the normal 2hb way (I loved that animation), and have the new models swing in 2hs form. I just can't picture my staff (looks like a plain staff, accept its see through white-ish color), swinging at a mobs head like a sword, striking at the top. it just doesnt make sense
I think the 2hb's with a bigger tip on the end would be just fine swinging, but this just looks odd.
Could I justifiably request that the image on Dragonbone warstaff be changed to something else? if it had the Caen's bo staff of fury/Soulbinder (eqlive) graphic it wouldnt look unnatural, or even the graphic of the mallet of the frozen golem(wr). just some sort of a staff that has extrutions on the tips of the staff to look less rediculous swinging at the top of someones head.

You should complain to SoE about it. Maybe they'll change it in their next patch (considering they seem to do everything their players tell them now, which is so horrible. Seriously, they want money so bad that they'll do anything to bribe people.), and then one day we may switch over.
Otherwise, just do what I do. Don't look at yourself melee. I've also turned off all other melee animations (using #filter) because one, i'm on dialup, and two, i just can't stand to look at it anymore.

not everyone uses luclin models, in fact, most people use old world models still, because the new ones take up more memory (not the reason I dont use them), and their animations are all around horrible.
obviously your stance isnt going to change on the matter so could you please at least consider changing the weapon graphic to something with extruding objects on the ends of the staff, there are plenty of 2hb graphics out there with spikes, mallet heads and whatnot on the end.
