Major loggin problems!

Just like the thread below this, i to am getting a patch message that says, " Errors encountered while patching!" etc etc. i also tried getting on this site with IE and it worked just fine and its still giving me that message. anyone know how to fix it?

its the same as the thread a few below me, except i tried resetting all my defaults and still no luck. im also not able to run the regular eq client either
 
pretty much need to uninstall everything for eq. get a copy of titanium and reinstall.
Or try to use the SoD patcher again and pray that whatever you've got bugging out will be fixed.
I had that issue not to long ago where every time I tried to load the game it gave me that little error and crashed to desktop. Was just some corrupted registry entries for the game. Something I will not try to go edit freehand.
At least you can go into your sod directory and copy // paste your .ini files to a backup location and just do a reinstall.
of course it could be something else but if its what i had its just simpler for me to do a fresh install.
 
Yah see the only problem for me is im not computer savvy AT ALL lol. i have no idea how to do any of this to be honest with ya. kinda sad i kno =( lol

You'll notice the bolded part... this shows that that message is NOT the log. The log is what you see when you press the "View Log" button on the patcher. You don't have to be computer savvy to figure that out.
 
Check sodpatcher.txt in the directory you have the patcher in, and paste that. I just got the same message myself actually, here's mine:
