loved or feared?

i've been asking most of my RL friends lately. i dunno why, i'm just curious.

i would rather be loved.
when you're feared, people do just enough to not get punished. when you're loved, your friends enjoy helping you and will do so without question

I'd rather be loved though :) It works so far in my life.. This way you're not lonely and actually have real friends and a partner.

I also guess you have to make decisions if you're feared. And I totally suck at making decisions. I can spend 15 minutes considering, which socks I will wear that day :D
 
Unfortunately, there was no response for neither, so I chose love as the better of two evils *grin*. The only wayyou are going to be loved by eveyrone is to pander to everyone, which is giving up to much of yourself, so it's not something I see in life. Now, if you said loved by everyone you love, that would be different. Those that only love me for what I do for them isn't someone that I'm probably going to love, so I don't really care if they love me.
 
Seeing as how about half the people that know me fear me... I'll have to say fear, that other half is currently slacking off.
