Looking for a good EQ server

Hi everyone.

I played EQ a while back but had to quit because of rl stuff. Now I am thinking of returning to EQ and Winter's Roar seems like a great alternative.
I think it's awesome that someone is willing to put effort into making a EQ server, thumbs up to the Winter's Roar staff. :)

My question is how does Winter's Roar differ from an EQ live server and how populated is the server?
 
We've got some 100ish zones IIRC. The content is all custom designed.

A lot of the AAs have are custom. All god knows how many items in the game are custom. We have a ton of custom spells, too, as well as the combat styles that allow you to vary your meleeing.

We have anywhere from 75 people on weekdays to upwards of 145 people on weekends online simultaneously. The main focus of WR is raiding, much like EQLive.
