Login server down again?

Is the login server down again? I normally play on scorpious2k but thought i'd try this server. Every time i try to log in i get 1001 error, have active account through eqemulator.net, but for some reason it won't let me connect to their page either. Just guessing that the login servers are down again. Anyone else having a similar problem?

When you get the 1001 error on entering your password on the EQ splash screen to get in, it's nothing your computer is doing wrong, or WR's server either.

Try entering EQEmu's homepage from their normal addy http://www.eqemulator.net/

If it won't load up, then that means they are down for the moment, and their logon server is down too. Sucks, but that's how it is until they get their act together and have the thing back up and running again.
 
Nah, it's not you. If you could normally log onto their home page and you got the 1001 error, then yeah, something would be up either with WR's server or your machine.

That's not the case though - their Website isn't up. I just checked again. It's all about them. Makes me wish we didn't have to go through EQEMu to log on, as Wiz's server is hella more stable and simply ON over theirs, but... There's reasons for everything, I'm sure.

For what it's worth, a couple of days ago EQEMu's website was down and I got the 1001 error. I took a walk and a few hours later their Website was up, and I could log in. Hence my theory on the whole thing.
 
You can always log on to IRC and check the channels to find out what's going on. If you need a quick way, use the WR home page link, then join #support and #eqemu.
