log in wont let me put in account name

i try to use one of my old accounts, but now it seems to be too long for the login screen to be put fully in, is there a way to go around this or have my characters transfered?
 
lets just say my account was, galakanocus and the log in will only let me put in galakanoc, hence it wont let me put in my full accounts name
 
It doesn't give me any problems to put in the above username. What steps did you take when reinstalling?
 
that isnt my real account name, my real one is 17 characters long, and it will only let me put in 15

erh, mine will only allow 15 characters too, but how did you ever log into that account, then?
 
i dont know lol, but when i sent an email to the pw recovery they sent me back an email with all my accounts, and it came up and went to try it it wouldnt fit, but i use to play on it all the time before the pw mess up, is there any way to transfer characters??
 
i sent him a message, i hope thats the way to do it, but if i just did a nono, how would i go bout contacting him??
 
sent foma a message to shorten my account, but no reply yet, just wondering if he gets online much or just really busy?? kinda so i know how long i got to play my necro :)
