Listview system

When the listsold system first came out, within a few weeks there were often up to 200 people using the listview listings at a time. As lof late, however, I have noticed that there seem to be less than 100 people listed as a matter of course.

I love the listview system, but I have been frustrated at the short length of time my goods stay on. I don't always play every two days, and when I do play I don't always get to a banker to relist my items. This is especially true of items listed on my various alts.

My suggestion is to extend the listview from the current 48 hours, up to a week.

I think the idea of 1 week is abusive. Why?

Some people use the auction system to sell ONE item (Often, I am one of them). If you sell your item, you remain on the list anyway, with nothing left to buy. So, what would happen if that person would stay on the listview for a week? Listview pollution.

While it is true that sometimes people end up sitting on the listview with nothing to sell, it's not nearly the trouble that logging in each character every 48 hours and finding a banker is.

In addition, being able to be on the listview for a longer period of time actually becomes good incentive to list more than one item for sale! So it's possible that problem would be self-correcting.

If there is a way that people could be automatically taken off listview once they have nothing to sell, then I would agree it would be nice for it to last longer than 48hours.

Or perhaps if listview showed a bit more information

*name* *catch phrase to get you to look* (current # or items that are left)

If it were possible to add a tally that would display behind their name and info then people would know to look or not.
