That came across poorly anyway. The reasoning isn't perfect, but that doesn't make the request bad nor does it make the reqest deserving of being jumped on like that.

Ive camped that for 4 hours/day for 3 consecutives day.. and got nothing I really gave up

The value of the lifeward is the fact you don't have to wait for your clerics to get mana to raise people after wiping on raids. It's irreplacable and the quest used to be a whole lot more annoying when you actually had to kill top tier raid mobs, for the time, to get one as well as sit at no less than 4 camps that could last as long as 12 hours each.

So is abot the same mana,

I don't have numbers, but after exping in EC on many many occasions, I would say this step alone makes it more difficult to complete than the Lifeward.

On the other hand, the fire giant piece takes a few sessions of soloable camping. Overall, I feel the Lifeward quest is balanced nicely risk/effort vs. reward as well as the Shield of Freeport.

(Nonetheless, I posted in this thread to try to get the Lifeward clickable from inventory! ... maybe chop down that cast time too... alright I won't push it.)
