Lavastone weapons in RSP/RSM/FG

currently there are a series of rec level 35 weapons that drop in rsp and surrounding areas that are no drop. could these be made droppable with a selling price slightly higher than mastercrafted weapons?
 
i support this because they look like awesome pet weapons, but they wont use them because they are nodrop :(
 
Honestly, I can't think of any reason pets shouldn't be able to use NODROP weapons. It'd probably help more overall to just change it so they can weild nodrop stuff.
 
Those are some sweet graphics on those. Would love to be able to hand my pet a few of them for fun.

Pets using cleric summoned hammers would be unbalancing.
 
I'd be happier if they changed those weapons to normal bland weapon graphics and used the current Lavastone graphics on something players would actually use.
 
I guess this is super neat derail, but the point of the thread was to make them exchangeable for a little coin; allowing pets to equip no-drop weapons doesn't address this at all.

Fair enough: No, RSM is already stupidy profitable. If FG and RSP need more coin drops, then that might need to happen, but a blanket change that helps all three would be overkill for the sunmines.
 
Just for the record, giving a pet a damage 50 weapon was the reason you can't give them no drop items, pretty much. Allowed you to level super fast as a pet class.

From my point of view making those weaps droppable would have been for low coinage, and would have made them useful mainly for pets. I suppose that's hence the directiion that the thread took.
Apparently it would be a no go from the last two answers so let's give up on this.

I dont think the high damage on weapons really benefits pets anymore. Just for fun, I gave my 63 fire pet a sword with 60 damage and it made no difference at all.

Recommended level torpedos that pretty thuroughly.
 
They are pretty cool weapons and I'm sure lower levels would love them to use them for a reason besides to look nifty for 5 seconds. Also, iirc the stats weren't even that great for someone at the rec level, so maybe that can be looked at as well.

its really dissapointing to get a new quest weapon and equip it, then spend the next 10 seconds trying to find it's graphic on your character.
 
Pretty much is no reason they can't as far as I've seen tbh. Say someone did toss some hefty damage nodrop weapon on a pet. When the pet dies. It's gone. Do not pass go. Do not collect 200$. That in and of itself is a limiting factor in how powerful it would be.
