Would it be too much to ask that this fine lantern be range slot usable?

I guess realistically you do hold them in your hands but really as a melee user it is pretty weak to swing a lantern at the terror :dumbsad:

I couldn't find any threads about this lantern so I have no idea if this idea was shutdown in the past.
 
You hold a lantern in your hands. Besides, you're giving up a bit of DPS to uh, live. Not a terrible trade off.

Because its not possible to melee him between the what 8~10? seconds between whirlwind.

Even then he does not hit THAT hard. I even considered using nimble stance once just to hurt him. That in itself is an accomplishment.

I mean I understand what you are saying and stuff its just still a cripple to any person who does decide to melee him

Not every single person in the raid needs one equipped . . . . you might consider distributing your lanterns differently.

=) It is a minor inconvenience at best, its just kind of a crummy deal for everyone but more crummy if you rely on a melee weapon to contribute imo.

I just figured having the option of putting it in the range slot would be more convenient unless this is some minor albeit part of the difficulty for the fight. I was originally going to ask it to be ammo slot usable if it could work but meh.

i have no clue what the item is or is for, but!

You couldnt attach it to your belt or something? i mean you get all types of cards, eyes, weapons, books, and among stuff for ranged that you should hold in your hands =)
 
damn the few times we did it, we had 1 lantern for the entire raid..... I dont see what the problem is
 
Needs to be able to cast light. To do that it needs to be in a permanently showing slot.
