Ladies and 'other Ladies',

All potential members of the upcoming guild, Scorn, need to meet in Newport by the docks Monday at 6:00 p.m (EST). There is no level requirement to enter the guild. However, I would like to tell you about the system we are hoping to incorporate: There will be a chance to kill every adept in the game. Hence, new toons will be needed. Starting level 1 noobs will go against the rat adept and then go from there. Friday afternoons running thru till Saturday afternoons (EST) will be the appointed time for Adept kills and group xp'ing for Scorn. An Adept take down schedule will be posted (including the date and times). Rabb the Rat will be taken down after petition guild approval. Providing we have not waited hours for a GM and Rabb's availability. Hopefully, the toon pool will be big enough that every toon will be grouped with others (w/n a 3 lvl range). So, if your main is fem and you want to incorporate her into the guild....we will be accepting all levels and she is welcome. I myself own a 48 Warrior who will be signing with Scorn. Raiding parties have to include 18 toons, so I am asking all Scorn 'future' members to enlist their higher level toons; so that when lvl 65 is obtained raiding may begin ASAP. Grouping should become easier now, since members of the guild will be available to help other members of the guild.

Now, onto the rules of the guild.

1) Have fun.

2) Role Playing is MAJOR. There will be a time and place for ooc, however, you should develop a character attitude, and stick with it. Dalaya is a place to be enjoy--for all of us. Leave all issues 'real world' -- in the 'real world'. We are not asking that you include a full bio, etc...for in-game role playing, but don't chat about you kids or cooking dinner for hubbies....

3) Participation is not going to be a must. However, if you don't show up for bout' a year; don't be surprised to be back in the "Dalaya's Beginner" guild.

There is a web page that is currently a "slow" (according to Lorrum) work in progress. I will let everyone know about it as soon as I know something. It seems that I have become the unofficial Secretary. We will be looking and needing officers for the guild (per class). If you have any experience, or want to gain experience, as an officer; please consider nominating yourself. Anyone wanting to be a class officer please send a note to myself or Lorrum. For all noob toon starters--we thought that a 'group' surname (at lvl 20) would be interesting and :) cool. Please think on this and let us know your feelings on that subject.

Running a guild is new for myself and Lorrum, we ask that you be understanding of any upcoming difficulties. We did not play LIVE before SoD, nor WOW. We are new to the whole mmo world, but we are dedicated and ambitious (with a killer sense of humor). So please help us along, if you can, but do NOT be rude. We consider this our castle within "their" sandbox. Now, Ladies let's slaughter a rat!

It is 6 30 and there are only 3 people here (and 2 are mine)....really let down....txs all :(

Don't forget that it is only 5:30 CST, 4:30 MST & 3:30 PST, so most of the country is probably still in work or at school atm. I would suggest making a later time on a week night or doing it on a weekend.
 
Reschedule and I'll bring an alt to help you create the tag. I don't have any female alts, so I won't be staying, but I can help you get it off the ground.
 
ah, yes the time zone issue--we thought about that as it neared 7 00 EST. We should try for a weekend meeting schedule. Let me get with Lorrum, and we can hash this out. If there is a preferable time for some of you guys let me know...think Saturday morning/afternoon. Saturday would be the preferred day for me.

Okay Scorn will try again. Also there is 2 pages under contruction we are hashing out the bugs. And deciding upon which one to go with.
 
Saturday sounds good here, but not too early or we'll probably run into a similar time zone conflict with West coast folks still being asleep.

Lets get going here lets meet at the newport docks on Wednesday April 2 @ 9pm eastern. We will not be doing much maybe ironing out some times everyone can possilbly group together. Remember, bring just one character to petition for guild--Wiz warned about alts we need at least eight more individuals if you want your other characters can join later.

You have to help make this happen.
I got the blue sceen of death so I just now started finishing up web page.
 
Lorrum, If i don't see any response to this post by 7 00 I would call it, Might not have been big enough notice or interest in this thread is dead....anyways just my thoughts....

Well I'm definitely interested and have a friend logging in to help create the guild, although he wont be playing. Too bad there isn't more interest, I think it would be a fun guild to pop an alt in, have a unique role playing experience, or what have you.

Oh well, see you gals tonight and hope we can scrounge up enough signatures to help us out.
 
I've had an alt made and ready for over a week now. Your current meeting time (today, 2 April @9pm EST) works out well for me, so I intend to be there. :)
