I always wanted a Rogue/Ranger melded class... the Assassin. (The 3letter abreviation would be ASN, to help reduce /ooc antics...)

Full Rogue Lineup, EXCEPT Backstab, Double Attack, or Intimidation*:
Sneak, Hide/Evade, Pick Locks, Pick Pocket, Sense Traps, Dodge, Safe Fall, Dual Wield, Make/Use Poisons, Disarm/Use Traps, Parry, Disarm, Riposte
*unsure if Intimidation should be removed, or not... It WOULD open a route to solo, but not consistantly or really very well.
-All Non-Combat skills (and Disarm) are attainable at normal ROG-attained Levels and Maximums
-All Combat skills (Dodge, Dual Wield, Parry, and Riposte) are attainable at BRD-attained Levels and Maximums
NEW Abilities (names are in <> Brackets, as they REALLY don't read right, and could use serious help... heheheh):
<Perforate> - Ranged-Only equivalent to Rogue's Backstab
Misdirection - 2min duration equivalent to Ranger's Jolting Blades, Ranged-Only and on a 5min timer (2-on/3-off)
*this may be "too much"... but at first look I felt there was little in the way of aggro-reduction while remaining at range... But, perhaps Evade would be enough.
<Headshot> - Ranged-Only equivalent to the Rogue's Assassinate (or perhaps use the same name, but expand to include an Assassin's Ranged attacks?)
Gear:
-Leather or lighter
-Access to any Ranged Damage Weapon NOT considered unique to Ranger Class by Game Lore
*I would prefer specially tailored Throwing Weapons, but use of Bow is not undesirable
-Disguises... use of formerly "ROG/BRD Only" illusion masks
-Daggers & Fist Weapons ONLY for Primary/Secondary Slots
Overview:
A subset of the Rogue Guild, these lightly armed/armored stalkers excel at killing their targets while remaining out of harm's way, or at the least beyond arm's reach. Due to this steadfast belief, their melee capabilities are less developed than their more straightforward brethren. However, with a suitable distraction in place, they can only be outclassed for long-range damage by specialists in the Arcane Arts.
Rangers can moan that the role of Ranged Physical Damage is already filled... but not for a TRUE specialist in the field. Note that there are no rooting or snare capability, beyond the use of poisons (and I am NOT asking for Poisons to be appliable to Ranged weapons... perhaps as an AA, but not for leveling). And then, the <Perforate> ability would be locked out due to positioning, except for perhaps a similar Stance to the rogues'... and even that is iffy at best. Soloing would be HARD, harder than for a normal Rogue.
