Kunark?

I spent a couple of levels later on camping the deepwater goblins as a solo ranger. I found pulling to the lake to be about the most boring thing possible. If LOIO comes back in, that safe lakeshore HAS to go.

I played on ECI at the same time you did :D . I remember grabbing a Ketachata Koro Mis (S*) and thinking I was ubar. I can also remember heading back there and farming sarnak for hours on end trying to get a sarnak earring of station lol.
 
I wish to suggest one thing for kunark -- make a high lvl farm style zone. I would suggest Warsliks and Forest Giants... im suggesting this because of the HG and IG farming problem.
Perhaps 55+ FGs would interest some people?
 
I liked Warsliks Woods on my old warrior. When Kunark came out i was lvl27 and i use to solo Forest Giants and Brutes. I also liked Skyfire Mountains and Veeshans Peak.
 
I do hope it won't follow the same sort of model as Live though.

I'd love to see Karnor's Castle turned into a friendly city with merchants, supplies, quests etc and Dreadlands into a heavy-treasure map zone or something to that effect.

It would be disappointing to see Dreadlands as a high lvl xp zone and karnors as a high lvl dungeon.

Again? I think there's already too much high end content when you compare with lowbie or even mid level, Not enough low level dungeons.
 
^^^ going to have to agree.. with the large flux of people, good mid level places are becoming harder to find... but at the same time..groups are becoming easier to find... this is about dungeons.. there are tons of outdoor places to hunt.. but what fun is that. =)
 
If people went outside of Yaralith and Blackburrow they'd see there's plenty of low-mid end content. The high levels on the other hand are pretty strapped for raid targets, and THAT is only getting worse.
 
Actually i went to Fearstone, Blackburrow, Bancak, Warren, Faentharc, Eastern Waste, The whole badlands, Great divide, Oasis, Echo cavern, Fungus Grove, Gfay , Lfay, Sea of Swords, Both Tarhyl, ShadowDale, plaguelands, Mielech A and B,Shrouded Island, First ruins ...and you know what ? I almost enumerated all of the zones which i could kill mid level content, and its REALLY poor, Melwin you really really really need to play more mid level, cause there's 2 real problems we're facing here

1: Most people camp yaralith and BB cause they're 1) Better exp
2) Better loot ( debatable )

2: Easier to access <----- No questions asked

Yup long rant, you probably think it's worthless, i'll give you the benefice of the doubt, but saying mid level people are getting enough dungeon zones as it is TOTAL BULLSHIT.

I remember when Yaralith wasn't on this list and the devs were saying "why don't people go to Yaralith?"

Paw
Bancak
Yaralith
First Ruins
Kaladim

The selection might be a little poor, but I hope you don't have unreasonable expectations here. There will always be more top level dungeons than mid level dungeons because you stay at the top level for a much longer time -- as it stands people only utilize a few mid level dungeons and far from all high level dungeons. I don't like working on content that has to be vastly unbalanced exp-wise to even get any attention.

It wouldn't even make sense for Ikisith (Kunark) to be anything but top level since the entire place is warped over by Kaezul.
 
Even though it was fairly low level on live, I enjoyed the overall layout and feel of Kurns Tower. I'd really like to see it with new content.
 
I'm hoping that when Kunark comes in,that it is higher level. There is not may high level outdoor zones.

I don't like the plaguelands , mobs have way to many hps, argo is insane. You get adds all the time, even if you pull to the walls. (Plaguelands - risk Vs Reward, not worth it IMO)

I think that Kunark was my favorite addon, i loved the look and feel of the zones, and mobs weren't insane.

Geonids in the faentharc caves are also good during this time period, but they aren't in a dungeon par se.

MMmmm yes kurns tower was definitely a unique, fun, dungeon

I am truley looking foward to karnors castle the most though :)

Chardok was "ok" and I didn't really like its design

There was another keyed dungeon from overthere that was quite fun as well.. though I don't think it should be keyed

IMO this shouldn't be a FULL kunark add-on as there are many kunark zones that leave a lot to be desired. Forena Vei(sp?) was uber laggy and sucked ass, that zone shouldn't be in imo. Warsilks woods was laggy and only had a couple good spots(the giant fort and goblin camp), but I doubt they could leave that out due to zone connection issues. Burning Woods was another crappy zone. The other woods zone with the tree froglok fort was another crappy outdoor zone. Though these may be my perspectives based on bad spawn placement on live...

One zone i'd LOVE to see though is Veeshan's Peak added as a prison raid type zone, with fast spawning high level wanderers etc that will keep the raid on their toes, and drop gems for combine armors, considering there is only one zone that does this so far(that I know of).
