Jerkin of Spectral Hands | Repeller

Heya, Couple days ago i got my hand on an armor droped from a raid content.
The thing is: Jerkin Tunic Seems kinda useless considering it droped from a raid encounter(high end zone), compared to Imp hide armor wich is player made / dropable, I'm wondering if jerkin could use a little boost to make up agaisnt Imp hide armor tunic. (so far as i was told, Jerkin tunic was the first drop on server "or actually seen").

here are both tunic for comparision(sorry spelling).

second thing.

I know repeller was already brought up, and was buffed up, thx but its not really about it.

I'm bringing it up today cause of the clicky effect. The focus effect make the banishment dmg kinda nice (usually 1800ish or so). But for some reason, Some target i would use "Exile Elemental - ranger lvl 61 spell" normally, Say they are protected from the clicky, yet Exile work fine =/ (sorry i don't have the name by mind of those target that said protected.
Second, i think the recast time (wich i heard behing 6 hours) is kinda a lil "high" for the effect, considering no one ever fight elemental all day long, I'm asking if it could be lowered a little so the effect may be actually worth it.

thats all. Thanks for the time.
If you need more infos Please let me know and i'll be glad to answer your questions.

The BP is a trash drop correct? That's pretty awesome considering how easy Misery is. If it were beefed up at all, wouldn't it be better than some drops from actual raid encounters in the same zone? It's already better than imp hide overall, with the 16 wis/75 mana making it more attractive for priests.

I would agree with Thoias that although the Jerkin appears weak next to imp hide if you're a melee class, it clearly beats the imp hide Hands Down for priest classes. So, something for everybody.

P.S. GRATS on the drop!

P.P.S. the Repeller thing sounds like a bug. Either the spell you're casting is bugged to work on mobs it shouldn't, or the repeller isn't working on mobs it should. I'd just buglist it. Remember to include details, such as which mobs this occurs on!

Repeller's recast is 1 hour, not 6.

An hour recast on Repeller is still entirely too long because its a highly situational nuke against Elementals, a 5-10 minute recast would be more appropriate and might actually come in handy.  If the nuke worked against any mob, an hour recast might be justified.  In an hour worth of using even a low end 2hander with a DD proc (lets say, 100 DD), I would bet it would do more damage than the clicky nuke does, AND it would work on any mob, not just elementals.

Yah sorry on the tunic then, I think as a melee hybrid class i didn't paid much attention to the wisdom =(.

i'll try to keep track of repeller when i use it and keep track if i see target has been protected and post their name up.

A 5-10 minute recast on a free 1k nuke? I dont think so.

ILet me get this straight. You are complaining that you can't cast a highly situational nuke from a weapon enough. If it's highly situational by the time the 5-10 minute timer you are asking for is up, the situation will be over, and no more need for the nuke. Your arguement makes no sense, since the fact that it is very situational makes any recast timer on it easily ignorable.

Er, what? It's not like if you go to an elemental zone (the situtaion in situational), you'll fight for 5-10 minutes and then leave. 5-10 mins is way too fast of a recast, true, but not for this reason.

we kinda mean, that a DD proc would deal more dmg (DD proc suitable to the weapon) in a fight compared to a "situational" clicky, so having a faster recast time would make repeller not so *** compared to other close 2handers with close to same ratio as this one.

Repeller is an excellent weapon all around. Good stats. Great ratio. A focus effect. Really this is a great weapon and the right click effect is gravy. Gravy. Not something that holds the weapon back from attaining ultimate must have status. Its gravy. You know that stuff you pour over the substance you are going to eat to ADD flavor.

Also gravy is pretty good for the most part. As is this effect. I also enjoy the gravy.
