It's been a good run

Wiz you made an absolutely fantastic server, I remember looking the site up after hearing it mentioned on an internet forum and it just blew my expectations away. I am definitely going to check out Dawntide when it comes out as I think you have an amazing sense of what current MMOs are lacking in substance.
 
i just joined the server about a week or two ago, and immediately i fell in love with SoD and signed up for a subscript instead of lame WoW! It's an amazing game and I give you two thumbs up! Finally I found a game that I can enjoy since the classic *********... I hope everything goes well for you with your professional MMO. i'll look into it in the future! Also! I'd like to thank all the Devs and new admins that will be taking up the server! I hope this game stays strong! :) Farewell Wiz!!

My two years playing on this server has been really great and I expect that every project, DT and what ever else you have planned in the future will be an amazing success. I dont think we have ever met in game or talked except for a couple times in IRC but I would like to express my graditude for the time you putt into making this game that has brought me much enjoyment :). I hope you find that same enjoyment if you end up making a couple characters of your own and definately look forward to participating in any events you host. Hopefully dawntide will be as much a sucess as Shards has become. Take care.

We all owe a great tribute to this american-bashing Wiz guy. Just dont let your bright head burn out, make sure to get lots of whisky...err i mean rest once in a while too, eh?

I can't begin to thank you enough for all the heard work you put in Wiz, I've only been here for a little under two years but I quickly fell in love. I look forward to seeing how DT unfolds as I'm sure it will be one of the best games yet to come! The staff on SoD is just amazing, and I'm sure they will carry on your legacy just fine. You will be missed that goes with out saying, and I'm sure there would not be a soul on the shard that would not agree... we look forward to seeing you pop in now and then!

With a hearty handshake and a pat on the back, I would like to extend my humble thanks and best wishes to Wiz and all the staffers at SoD. If not for them SoD would not be what it is today! Truly what that "other game" should have been!
