Item with unlimited charges saying it's out of charges? Post here!

Both Melodic Breastplate and raincatcher get the out of charges messages after they are clicked once.
I know there are a lot of items like this but I can't think of anymore off the top of my head

Possibly a stickied thread could be made for this, since it seems to be a common issue

Raincatcher is (I hope) fixed with the big patch of general stuff I sent wiz yesterday. As for your sticky idea, I definitely support it.

Basically, you have to set the item's charges to -1 in order to make it infinitely clickable. It's not an intuitive thing, and if you find out that little tidbit of trivia after you've already made a bunch of items, then you have to go back and change them all; moreover, even if you already know about it, it's damned easy to miss.

Fixing Melodic BP, will add to the patch of stuff I'll have ready soon.

Edit: Hmm, I'm seeing it as fixed already locally. I suppose it's possible that change got rolled back somehow. Will add it to the patch file anyway.

I'm not sure I'm following here correctly, but if items with charges are supposed to be infinite, add Sash of the Origins to the list if it isn't already :eek: otherwise I spose gate potions everywhere rejoice!

You're not following it correctly.

Items with charges listed are correct. Items without charges listed that say "this item has no charges" when clicked are not.

thats covered under my patch notes but fyi the fix is "no spell", not "more charges". its not even supposed to click anything in the first place :haw:
 
not sure if this is intended or not, but...
greenbark gloves, ranger starfall 2.0... only have 1 charge, is this intended?
 
Orb of Anti-Magic from plane of fire says unlimited and broke after 1 charge also. But then again, so did every other item from that plane that we've gotten =)
