Item Effects

Hey SoD, I have a quick question about item Effects. For instance my gloves: Flameseer's Gloves have an effect of "Burn (Combat, Instant)" Is this effect somethig I have to initialize myself? I have had these gloves for a bit and do not remember seeing anything that could be classified as a Burn effect in combat?

Additionally is there a list or something that explains what some of the effects are?

That effect will go off for hand to hand combat.

Effects on Breastplate go off when you get hit in melee and on Boots when you kick.

As for effects try checking the spell list site to see if it's already some classes spell otherwise just wait and see maybe
