Funny and yet painful, somewhere under that pile of awful customer service & shitty expansions lies the game we used to love :(
 
The first thread was locked at 70-71 pages, over 1750 responses. The new thread is at 27 pages and climbing. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a minor influx of ppl that are leaving Live because of this.
 
People say they're going to leave, but I bet 90% who say they will, won't. You see this kind of response everytime SOE does something stupid. People say they are going to leave, but end up not. Typical response to a typical action.
 
Well, in my opinion, the people who remain are either;

A) Really, really hardcore EQers, who'll stick with EQ regardless of how much of a bastardised version it is, compared to old school EQ.
B) Newcomers to EQ, who've gotten used to the easy play, phat lewtz, pok stones, etc - players who never experienced old school EQ.
C) People who keep going back through misguided thoughts that maybe, just maybe, it'll still be like old school EQ.

So yeah, think Tarrax is right, doubt many of those people left will leave EQLive anytime soon. Which is sad really, because it means they can be spoonfed infinite amounts of shit and they'll still gobble it up and ask for more :p
