What is the different between this and the game?

- Faction, Zone, quest, monster is different (see wiki for more detail, almost all quest is there)
- Mana regen rate and XP gaining rate is alot faster
- You can travel between different city (e.g. newport) via the mansion of portal, it is a gate that exist in most city. (See wiki -> zones -> mansion portal map)
- All item will remain on you if you die, your corpse contain only your XP debt, which you will get it back when you are rezzed
- XP debt is count in percent, you will get same amount of debt no matter how many time you die in a row
- You can buy off your debt from the cleric npc for a small price according to your level
- You can change your fighting mode (/s list)
- You get 10 points in specialize at every level (/cm specialize) [This system replaced the specialise system for casters in the original game]
- Adventure band (You can form a band with other people, so that both of you will share the XP gained, even if not in a group or when you are not online)
- There are no Grouping level limit
- As long as the highest level in the group gets exp from the mob the group is fighting (i.e. it doesn't con green to him/her), then everybody in the group gets exp.
- You can bind yourself in any zone, apart from dungeons (/cm bind)
- List system for buy and sell item (Similar to a shop, see Tome of knowledge -> List system thread)
- Enchanter can control their pet like a necro or mage pet
- OOC and auction channel is global channel, all zones will hear you
- Shout channel is your zone only
- Adept (it is a boss which have a level limit for you to attack it, e.g. you must be between 20-30 level, see wiki adept for more info)
- Max number of member in a raiding group is 18
- Treasure maps (See wiki for more info)
- Different Tradeskilling recipes.
- You can level up to 65.
- Different AAs.
- A new tradeskill: mining
- Auxiliary (sp?) tanking: anybody in melee and facing the mob now contribute to reducing its damage
- Archery is worth something even before you put 100 AAs in it!
- Alignment system, similar to the classic D&D one; your alignment is attributed based on your actions in-game
- Assistance penalty for help received outside of group while fighting a creature
- Group XP bonues...2 players in a group get same XP each as if 4 or 6 players (see more on wiki)

Please contribute to the list if you think of any new ideas. It will be helpful for the new players.

Re: What is the different between this and the game?

Re: [Information] What is the different between this and the game?

A few corrections...

HP regen is faster?

- Grouping level limit is +- 10 level

Are you sure of that? What I heard is that as long as the highest level in the group gets exp from the mob the group is fighting (i.e. it doesn't con green to him/her), then everybody in the group gets exp.

- You can bind yourself in any zone, apart from dungeons (/cm bind)

Most zones, but not any zones.

Additions:

-A new tradeskill: mining
-Auxiliary (sp?) tanking: anybody in melee and facing the mob now contribute to reducing its damage
-Archery is worth something even before you put 100 AAs in it!
-Alignment system, similar to the classic D&D one; your alignment is attributed based on your actions in-game
-Assistance penalty for help received outside of group while fighting a creature
-Rich lore that doesn't constantly shoot itself in the foot

Re: [Information] What is the different between this and the game?

Staff that loves the game VS just doing a job
Staff that listens to the players
Group XP bonues...2 players in a group get same XP each as if 4 or 6 players

You are correct. But, keep in mind, if it is a light blue mob to the 65, it will be light blue experience to the others even if it cons red to them.

Updated my original post with the new infos.

Please contribute more ideas when you think of any.

New players definately benefit by reading this.

"Assistance penalty for help received outside of group while fighting a creature"

So if you want to be nice and buff someone as you run by, and they are fighting something, they will get less experience because of it??

Yep. It was put in place mainly to hamper powerleveling.

- You get 10 points in specialize at every level (/cm specialize) [This system replaced the specialise system for casters in the original game]

add as a sub subject (related to specialize point)... you get 2 points in specialize at every "AA's" lvl you make.

On the adepts...there are adepts for all levels until 50+, I'm not very knowledgeable about this, but it stretches from Beetle Queen in Centaur Hills to Traekoth in Darkwoods iirc.

-New area bonus (when you hunt in a zone you never hunt before, you will get up to 50% new area bonus, bonus will decrease as you gain more xp in that zone)
The bonus will reset at level 30 and 50.

I think it also resets at 65.

Isn't it up to 25%?

Don't forget the Adept Rat in North Newport - level 2 ish.

For example there is no /melody command. Also positive songs cannot be twisted like in live.
