in remembrance of our player Solosolki I would like to see some support in an item made.

I know we breached the topic of his zone he was developing, but could we name an item after him? Something that would live on forever.

Solosoli's will, or something of the sort. I think this would be a really cool thing we could do in return for the experiences he left us. What do others and the staff think as well?

Some player tributes exist in game already. I don't think this is out of the question. Most are not as direct as 'Solosolki's Will' (with maybe the exception of the recent vanity mirrors) But things like : http://wiki.shardsofdalaya.com/index.php/Hewn_Manguadinite_Pauldrons come to mind with their FD clicky and lore strongly suggesting a link to a particular player.

If a mob or NPC is made in his memory, I think it would only be fitting if he was given a black dog for a pet.

Suggestions are welcome absolutely. Here's the thing. We don't know what we're going to do. This has never happened to us, and we're still trying to figure out "what's right." We're also pre-occupied trying to get 2.5 out the door here so we can move on with life. So give us some time, don't be offended if we're not responding to ideas (I guarantee we're not going to overlook a memorial), and whatever you do, don't troll these topics. I will have no sympathy for people who do. This is a somber thing, not a time to amuse oneself.

1) a raid boss
2) finish his zone
3) a quest npc erudite black robe 4.3 sword in 1 hand and a fishing pole in the other with a black dog. Or maybe nix the 43 sword. Have the quest centered around helping people and fishing.
