Alright folks, listen up. This is important.
There has been a rash of items that have been lost during trades and, quite frankly, we're tired of dealing with it.
So, we have found a way to have those items recovered, but only under certain conditions. If you have lost an item/items in a trade and you want us to attempt to recover them, please do the following:
1) Log off immediately if you are not already logged. (Do this immediately. Don't even stop to pick your nose.)
2) Make note of which character you were using during the trade.
3) Make note of which character you were trading stuff with.
4) Make note of exactly what you were trading.
5) Log on an alternate character and submit a petition with the following items:
* A complete list of what you lost. If the list is too long, have it ready when a GM contacts you.
* Which character you were using during the trade.
* Which character you were trading stuff with.
6) Wait for a response to the petition. You might mention that you lost stuff in IRC if no GM gets on the petition in a reasonable amount of time.
7) Whatever you do, do not log back on your character until a GM gives you the okay.
DID YOU HEAR ME? DO NOT LOG BACK ONTO YOUR CHARACTER!
If you do log on your character or if you don't follow this procedure to the letter, you may risk losing all traces of your lost gear. If that happens, you will have to throw yourself at the feet of the GMs and beg for mercy.
(And we all don't want to see that happen....well, except for maybe Melwin
)
Wany.
