Important Healer Clickies

Nebi

Dalayan Pious Diety
At the time of my posting there is a post in the suggestions forum which 2 shaman players are indicating that their class is a little under par which leads me to believe that they aren't using the best Dalaya has to offer in the form of clickies.

The purpose of this thread isnt to make a list of things you need in order to be a healer but things that will obviously help you maximize your character and make it a little bit stronger. I know there was a clickies thread before but it was for everyone and the different clickies are listed on 6 pages. Nobody wants to go through 6 pages of clickies.

true wald, but not ideal to give to a healer due to the casting time on that one. Given its all/all, better to give to other classes for those moments your group healer goes down and you can try to patch heal your group till a vim/heal from another group becomes available.

The "tier" of a tmap is not related to the term "tier" as it is applied to raid encounter difficulty. Instead, it is used to differentiate the types of tmaps. It is a bit of an outdated naming convention, though. The corresponding difficulties in terms most players nowadays would understand are:

Tier 1: Simple level 20-29
Tier 2: Simple level 30-39
Tier 3: Simple level 40-49
Tier 4: Simple level 50-59
Tier 5: Very Easy
Tier 6: Easy
Tier 7: Moderate
Tier 8: Difficult
Tier 9: Very Difficult
Tier 10: Extremely Difficult

More on-topic, don't overlook the value of potions. For guild raids, it's important to remember that raid mobs tend to drop cash, and that cash is going to some player (perhaps as part of an unofficial guild bank). If your guild keeps an unofficial guild bank, you might consider asking to have it reimburse you for the cost of making healing and mana potions for your healers and casters. I know that I always used mana potions twice during Tier 13 encounters like Warchief Rujik Moktar and Taeshlin, the Fallen Guardian... and they're proportionally more significant at lower tiers.

ashpyre is gross, 1700 total base (500 + 3 ticks of 400) group heal w/ 3 min cooldown, it is nearly a required item on a healer and MASSIVE on a shaman. having ashpyre, blood, and gloves on a shaman is a much bigger deal than it is to other healers.

Doesn't The Soul-Shepherd from 4.3 deserve a spot on the list as a useful healing item? However, I am sure I've heard somewhere that its cooldown timer conflicts with Blood of the Brood or some other clicky...

The OP specifically mentions Shamans. Even though the following illusion clickies do nothing to boost healing output, many Shamans still regard them as "essential" to the class due to their ability to cancel out bear form while still retaining the bear form buff (including the effects of the Blood Feast tome line):

Illusionary Armor Clickies

Illusion: Gender Clickies

I'm not sure it fits in with the thread title, but it is a huge QOL thing for all shaman.
