Illusion: Skeleton, the Lich Spellline & Iksars

Just a flair suggestion: Would it be possible to make an Iksar that gets hit by a Spell that makes him look like a Skeleton look like an Iksar Skeleton? I mean, they are Iksars, and the model is in.

Something like
IF <targetrace> = <Iksar>
then usemodel <Iksarskeleton>
else usemodel <Skeleton>

A terrible suggestion from a terrible European.

Draxx, shut it up or I'll visit you with Rurho when you're having your next BBQ.

I like the idea - as long as you don't touch Relic Lich. I always liked the low/midlevel graphic of Iksar Necro pets and it'd be somewhat cool if you could change Lich to work the same. I'm just not sure if it's something that's easily doable since everytime this illusion or Lich get's casted there needs to be a racecheck - not sure if that's possible at all.

Wraith form doesn't look like an iksar skull though, so shouldn't wraith form be changed to an iksar skeleton then as well?

A wraith is not actually a skeleton, no? And besides, it neither looks very human.

Agreed on the Iksar skeleton model, wouldn''t change stuff a lot but would be coherent.

What about smallies ? are gnomes in skeleton form as small as they're supposed to be ?

I believe I have seen tiny lich form necros running around on occassion. I doubt they bothered to use shrink so I think the skele/lich forms are the appropriate size.

Yeah if the models are already different between gnomes and humans it wouldnt be difficult to use the Iksar one.

This would be much, much more difficult than it sounds because of the annoying way SoE built spells. You can't have an illusion spell do different things to different people :(

I suppose you could employ race-specific spells, but that sounds like a fair amount of work for no actual benefit.
