Why do iksar's still have -2.5%XP? Practically every race receives no penalty while Iksar's get -2.5% AND -10% skill up rate. The other penalties are
Trolls, -10% skill up rate
Vah, Ogre, Halfings eat extra food


Also since to clear exp debt you need to earn ~20% of your level (as per wiki) and -EXP% actually works by making your levels require that much xp, does that mean Iksars actually have bigger exp debts than everyone else? =x

How much armor does Natural Armor add? Glancing through fomelos it is hard to tell. Checking myself VS a few other beastlords (kjiel, wooma, agiktesse, kowuf) im roughly 30AC ahead of all of them. When checked Tahn (human monk) vs a bunch of iskar monks (lobsang, renshu, cinn, lobsang, jackii) it ranged from 25AC up to 80AC difference.
 
Agree. It seems with the recent changes (upgrades to other races) there isn't as much of a need (justification?) for the iksar penalty.
 
Iksars are still the best tanks by alot, I do not remember who mentioned it but someone said the ac scales up to 60ish at 65.

the other penalties can be eventually mitigated in game by either capping the skill or buying more/higher quality food. They also also receive 2 penalties instead of 1 one. Not really asking to completely remove all of iksars penalties (though i wouldnt complain) but to make it more in line with the minor inconvenience that the other races have rather than a permanent time sink.

Skill learning rate is a joke of a penalty, if the ac number really is 67 or whatever it was said to be then the exp penalty is completely justified. You are basically walking around with a free breastplate
 
Consider it that way: other races (with the exception of midgets and black people) got increased to get to the level where pre-change iksars have been. (Gnomes and erudites got nerfed to reasonable levels).

So why would you change the chosen baseline?

You now get increased standing regen and fire damage reduced. Arguably the most common spell damage resist type to encounter.

50 or +10% after 50 to Forage

Which class, that Iksars can be, actually can get more than 50 Forage?

Checking fomelo you seem to not be looking at AC. I see you are like 14 AC ahead of Kowuf and that is it?
 
Kow is a punk anyway give trolls the ability to split into two trolls that would be pretty cool.

look at "base ac"
Kjiel = 678
Kowuf = 681
Zefar = 705

Some of that could be base AGI (i have 7 more than both of you)...odd thing is you both have the same amount of base agi but different base AC.

Changing 1 of them probably changed them all

the increased regen is like 4/tick which is practically nothing. I would agree that fire is arguably the most common spell resistance type, but how useful at any 1 point in time it is depends on your level/tier.

When rechecking fomleo i noticed that races still get their normal slight base resist differences.

Unless I'm mistaken, the extra 10% would apply to skill gained from +Forage items, which could be implemented at any time. (See Hooloovoolian Etitakaloons)
 
In my opinion.. the iksar racial AC bonus is a little more powerful than any racial trait should be. Probably the halfling death save @ 10% too.

Oh how I cry @ situational bonuses like only @ night, or only outdoors.. and those bonuses are minimal.

Otcho also implied (we talked in game) that was that ~60AC was pre racial changes it could be more/less now. It's hard to say how powerful it is other than +AC being great for tanks no matter how much it adds.

And did the Troll 1% natural mitigation go through? How would that compare to the AC bonus?

Trolls didn't get this 1% bonus. I forgot how AC scales and don't even really know how AC works so I can't evaluate how 1% mitigation would be against having 40 more ac.
