can we get simplified instructions for the not to software savy people to install the new client so when 2.5 is launched they can just log in and enjoy. I would even suggest the front page button link on the left. Let's make this super simple so we can all enjoy the new prettiness
 
You mean more simplified than the game motd that says just copy your folder over, download the client, and enjoy?
 
think of a user friendly perspective we want to welcome players not tear them apart on the forums, we want to atleast get them into the game. and if they can not log into the game how can they see the motd?
 
As of right now, characters are not being transferred from beta to live, nor will they exist after the transition. Getting new people to simply log into the beta server would do nothing but cause frustration over working on new characters only to watch them poof when it goes live. Better to get them on existing client first, so progress is not lost.
 
thats what i was getting at sorry for the lost in translation. but yes make it a easy as possible for new peeps
