whenever i die i get this lag spike (my settings are turned all the way down, and the options except for sound and the one that compresses the texture (i think) are the only ones without the red arrow (which i think the red arrow means off?).
also i'm useing 156 SDRAM and that doesn't help either. is there another way to make less lag besides getting more ram for my other BETTER computer next month?
 
I think dying forces you to "zone" even if you're in the same zone as your bind point. It's not a "lag spike" it's just you zoning.
 
Lower the texture quality. Also, the red arrow means the option is selected. Turn off Zone caching as it doesn't work and supposedly lengthens zone load times.
 
i did it all :(
is there a program that removes unessecary processes such as the ones you see when you hit CTRL-ALT-DEL in the process list
