How to work with both EQ Emu and SoD?

i see that to play SoD i have to delete all the eq maps, making EQ emu unplayable, can i just make a copy of the EQ folder minus the maps and have that as a seperate SOD folder?

Also, will SoD work on a fresh titanium install or must i still patch to live? if so, Would it be better to use the titanium install or the original EQ disk?

You can have two seperate folders, yes.

And it should work on a fresh Titanium.

I just did a fresh Titanium install and it took me about 15 mins of patching total to make SoD playable.
