How important is Slow

My money is on the beast. Speaking of which, I just got a great idea. Would it be possible to schedule 'cock fights' or monster fights in PvP areas when they're not being used? Like the instant someone steps into it the monsters go poof. It would add the atmosphere, and you could place bets on whichever you wanted to win. Imagine, an elephant vs a giant snake! A lion against a griffon! The possibilites are endless :D

Relic pet would win, with it's agro buff and 50 hate proc that goes every 10ish seconds. I've grouped with beastlords and my mage pet always takes agro. However, I believe it might be much different for any of the lower level pets.

First GM event I attended on WR: Wizzy and Bretto spawning bosses and having them duel in haven of lore. Players could bet on the victor... I think I raised my bank balance that night by like 500%.

I always wondered whether a high lvl monk with better mitigation / avoidance and dps would be a better tank than a warrior even for high end stuff (minus taunt). Surely the increase in mitigation/avoidance and dps would outweigh the warriors greater hp ?

mitigation, HP and aggro are all warriors have going for them. without aggro, you dont have much of a tank, though.
Even if a monk had the same mitigation, higher avoidance, and half the hitpoints, the warrior would still be the better tank.
Its not the constant damage intake that kills people getting hit, it's the spikes.
Damage spikes are what kills anything that cant mitigate like a warrior.
