Hi..system requirements?

Hi i'm new to this but I am interested in joining this server but my computer’s abit outdated and can’t play the eq – the actual game. I was wondering if someone can tell me what the system requirements for this game/this free server is? Thank you so much.
 
The system requirements are going to be the same for EQ1 during the GoD era.

I was able to run two instances of SoD on a pretty crummy laptop with 256 mb of ram and an integrated graphics card with only a little bit of lag, so it's not super demanding, but if you can't run EQ(1, not 2) then SoD isn't going to work either.
 
My comp runs SoD fine, but struggled terribly with Luclin. This might give you a benchmark.
 
Are there any luclin zones used actually in SoD ?

Because SoD runs pretty good on my small Eeepc (i love it lol), but so far only used to play in basic zones and velious, so i don't know how good it would run with the graphics zone of luclin.

if SoD have luclin zones, might get interested to go test them :keke:
 
The only 2 Luclin zones I can think of off of the top of my head are Mansion of Portals (Vex Thal) and Cyrtho Malath (Ssraeshza Temple). There are probably more that I'm not thinking of.
 
For us old farts that remember the Lands of Magic, there were lots of Luclin zones in that. When the Lands of Magic were destroyed (a fantastic event, by the way), those zones were taken away for reuse later. Mansion of Portals (Vex Thal) was released after this, Cyrtho Malath (Ssraeshza Temple) had its entrance moved to Lake Starfall, and the Refresh Zone (The Nexus) was added with /cmd refresh because it's the simplest zone they could take you to for refreshing IIRC. I still expect we'll get to see these zones reinvisioned in the future.
