lol ok ok, everyone starts out somewhere...

I am thinking about joining this server, though Im well very new to this game (kinda)
I started playing EQ back during the Ruins of Kunark (before they patched and you had to have a super computer to play)

I am curiouse on a few things before I install and try and log in and whatnot,

How do you play on a free server (Ive played on a UO free server for awhile)

The only game I have is the EQ Ruins of Kunark, is that ok?

how stable is the server? I mean should I expect many downtimes or whatnot?

and last but not least, does your server run off the newer clients (where you need high performence graphic card) or the old style where you didint have to have a powerful gfx card?

Since I only have the Ruins of Kunark, ummm what areas will I not be able to go to or whatnot? since on the webpage only says you need planes of power...

second question is, Im not sure if I can even play because Ive tried signing up for a Emu Forums screen name but every time I do I keep getting the error (this email has been banned) :S I have like 5 diffrent email addys and all of them were banned, 4 of them being hotmail so I tried a yahoo one and still said it was banned..

I would say that it's a big plus if you have velious. The server is atm most about original eq, velious and luclin. There are however zones from kunark and PoP in the game. One of the kunark zones I can name right away is sebilis, but it's a high end zone.

Downtimes happen since the server is still in beta stage. But looking at the first page on webpage, you can tell that the server is often being patched and coded for bugfixing and whatnot.

I dont know if public e-mails are allowed (like yahoo and hotmail) but I could be wrong about that one. At least I myself am not subscribed with a yahoo or hotmail e-mail address so I don't know

Thanks I have this site book marked, so what Im thinking about doing is buying the newest Version of EQ playing for the free 30 days, and hopefully by then you guys would have swtiched to the 5.0 or whatnot server I keep hearing about not sure exactly what all that means or anything but I definitly wount forget about this free server

Ive been looking for a free EQ server for ages now and so far this looks like the best out there (havent found many though lol)
The only thing Im hesitant about is the fact I heard the zones are scattered (but thats not that big of a deal since I dont even remember which zones are which to be honest lol)
