Hey, new to everquest

Hey iv always heard a lot about everquest and i wanted to play it when i was much younger. However i never had the chance since my parents werent about to pay monthly. Either way this servers free as it is yet iv still never played EQ! so just saying hi and wondering if anyone had some good suggestions for a new player?
 
sweet thanks, i just looked through the controls menu on there and i cant seem to find how to interact with npcs?
 
Target them (LMB), press H.

In case of a merchant, rightclicking them opens up the store.
 
Learn to "box" (play 2 chars at once) right from the start.
Ignore all the guys who will tell you it isnt needed and how they made 65 with 25 tomes in 3 days soloing.
I highly recommened Dru/some tank type.
 
Personally I loathe boxing, but that's all a matter of play style. Just be aware that there is a limit of 2 toons online at any given time per RL-Person, no matter what!
 
Hello I am new to everquest also- If you want to group my name in game is zillikinix - togoro - and zilzalin <--- not sure on last one. Just made it.
