Help Crashing!

Well, i have a problem here. My EQ keeps on crashing. what happens is my EQ freezes and i get an error message saying. "EQ may have encountered a problem/Crashed" Sometimes I cant move my mouse and I have to restart my computer. other times i will Ctrl+Alt+Del to bring up task and end EQ that is not responding. This happens a lot to me, 15-30 mins.

I reinstalled EQ and same thing after 2 hours. I have a newer computer running windows xp. 4 gigs ram. 3ghz dual core. Nothing running on the task bar. I just dont get it. I recently installed a sound card and usb ports. also bringing my older ui files to save my macro's.

Any Suggestions?

Does this happen on every character or just one?

Did it start after you installed the sound card?

Are you playing any other games and see this happen elsewhere?

Could be a couple things. Driver conflicts, hardware conflicts, overheating, etc.

When did it start and does it seem to be happened more frequently now than before? If so, it might be a hardware issue with something breaking.
