No, it will not raise the DPS of NPCs.

Yes, it will affect archery.
 
With the new style changes, will this effect the amount of endurance used on an attack? And will there ever be a case where the type of weapon you are wielding determines the amount of endurance used by the style, Unarmed being the lowest, and Huge 2h Swords and Axes being the highest?

Doesn't weapon weight already factor this in? I would imagine weapon weight is more of a factor than the weapon type. I could see spending less energy swinging a 2 handed katana as opposed to a 1 handed mace or flail. Not sure if weight is a factor, but I thought I remembered reading it somewhere.
