Been checking out the dark elf city, honestly I have never entered it before. Didn't even think of checking it out before. The game did an excellent job of discouraging people to even walk into the zone line. Even the Wikipedia has nothing on the area. So my question is how many people checked out the city? Recommendations on a path to avoid the tornado mists of death? Been playing on an off for awhile, but kinda want to start contributing to at least the Wikipedia.

There is a quest there that allows you to bind outside of the zone in. I forget what the quest was. I would suggest getting the quest and binding before exploring.

The Silver Crown High Trader quest sends you in there to pick up ground spawns through all three zones. It lets you bind outside like Daffie said. You get to run around there all stealth-like and do plenty of guesswork (deathwork) on when a mist can see you. There is a guy called Bunknee who knew the safe paths through the city like the back of his hand. If he still plays you should ask him for a tour.

The SC High Trader Quest requires you to get down to Nag B. You don't need to go to Nag C for that quest. The only time I remember wanting to go to Nag C was when Jumbers said in ooc that there would be a reward for high-fiving him in Nag C for a certain brief window of time. I've only met one person who made it to Nag C, they didn't report anything crazy so far.

I appreciate the info. unfortunately I didn't even know this quest existed, I chose the council of innovation (DOH) when I did my main quest. My secondaries have not done the main quest yet, but I really don't want to spend the next 40 hours building up to this quest. so I am going to just spend the 5 min to run to the city gate each time I die. Hopefully I might discover something, at the very least find where those mist tendrils are located.

Yeah, if you have access to a cleric who can rez your corpse and give you a Divine Aura that helps. You still get summoned with DA on but if you're close to the zone line sometimes you can get there despite the chain summoning. Good luck.

By doing the pariah aug quest when you collect diffrent kinds of gems. 1 of them are located in Nag C.

doh. might alter my plan a little bit my necr0 pledged himself to the got of disease. switching to my REALLY low level enchanter. the fact that the pariah quest isn't finished, makes me want to work on it. problem is if I can"t raise my enchanter high enough to do the quest within a week I might run out of real life time. I got about a month of free time before my job starts up again. once it starts, I can't play for at least 6 months. I guess my only other option is to petition and hope they will let me bind there for the sole purpose of exploration.

Pariah aug quest is finished, idk what you are talking about. I can pretty much guarantee you that you won't be able to do it in a week on your baby ENC though.

I eagerly ran to participate in Karit's first ever crate event in Frosthorn Coast. Everyone else was linking their prizes in OOC. However, when I broke my own crate open, I got nothing but a single line of yellow text that read something along the lines of:
A sense of dread fills you.

That wasn't the quote verbatim, but nothing seemed to happen at all. I wrote it off as bad luck and went about my day. When I logged in the next day for a raid, my guild put out the raid call in guild chat and I loaded up Gate to return to the table bindpoint in Tears of Elael. Much to my confusion and dismay, I found I had loaded straight into the deepest part of Nagthilian C! That mean crate reassigned my bindpoint to Nag C without ever telling me! Luckily, my port clickies still worked in that zone. I didn't dare poke around due to all the scary things I'd heard about the place, but I probably missed a rare opportunity there.

If I'm not mistaken, I got the exact same "prize" in a subsequent crate event while playing another character, and I think that Karit had to come to my rescue eventually because I had no means of porting away. Am I the only one who ever got this horrible, horrible prize? And twice, too! o_O

Sorry my bad. I just meant the wiki content wasn't completed. Just want to fill in the missing text.

Thank you all for the help. Been learning more about the dark elf city. Died 10 times so far, but having blast doing it. Its been a long time since I walked in that city. I forgot about the details like the floating skulls. To be honest the one thing I discovered is that the tendrils don't seem to sense you through the door. They kill the sec you open one. Haven't gone in too deep yet. Definitely haven't made it to the foreign quarter yet.

I got a bad prize once too. The same awful prize would be great for me, though.
