Hand to Hand and 1 Hand Blunts.

Is there any way some weapons that are comparable to the beastlord/monk damage table at the high end be introduced and obtainable by something other than a raid? As it stands now I have been level 65 for quite some time and still using my fists. Good DPS but it just seems wrong that i would have to resort to using them at this level, and with my living in Korea there is no way on earth i could attend my guilds raids or piggyback on another guilds raids because of the extreme time zone difference. I'm sure there are others who play that would like to be able to find a ulak, or a fist, or a 1h blunt weapon with at least minor stats that also compare to thier current barefisted dmg/delay. I'm not asking for uber crap just something obtainable by a casual player who cannot attend many, if any, raids.

Asking for easily obtained 13/18 weapons with stats is actually asking for uber crap. Sorry that you feel you're neglected on stats, but by DEFAULT you get amazing weapons just for being your level.

I would consider a 13/20 h2h or 1hblunt weapon comparable to my fists if it had minor stats, even a 12/20 which is (in my opinion) considerably lower than 13/18.

12/20, 10 STR/STA, 50 hp, 8 to all saves. Proc is Rapid Bleeding, 8 dmg first tick and adds 2 per tick to a max of (I think) 66. It's quested. Only one part you couldn't solo, and that's easily one-groupable (the diseased beetle in DN for the second upgrade, level 62 hits for 300 or so).

Last I heard PoT mobs aren't soloable, which is also required to upgrade the fists. But they can be one grouped.

not upgrade. thats the basic. upgrades are gem of channeling for first off geonid master. second is Decaying Beetle Heart off the Decaying Beetle in Dragon Necropolis. in my opinion a not bad quest, which i may end up doing on my monk just for fun=)

Same deal. Anyway, you can probably get a cain of darkness or whatnot. 12/20 proc is a necromancer snare/dot thing.

Honestly, until you get to the top game, fists are for DPS and weapons are for stats as far as monks/BLs go by design.

Cane of Darkness is actually 10/18

I used Cane of the Champion / Staff of Darkness until level 57, when my fists begain to do comparable damage / delay.

At level 60, I got my off hand, and then at 65, I believe I got my mainhand.

Twisted ore can also be purchased for 100pp or so.

You can probably also buy someone to kill the beetle for you.

As for another suggestion, try visiting Dreadfang spires. They have a very nice 7/12 (+5 vs undead) fists. You might want to get a high end group to help you, though.
