Halas Newbie Beastlord Armor

OK I gave her the correct spear this time and nothing happend. It just said she had no need for this item and gave it back to me.

However, I said [protecting the balance] to her and she responded but I wouldn't have know to say that if Tarrax hadn't posted it ;)
 
I finished the Halas Beastlord Shoulders, and the next quest sends you to talk to Frostwind, a spirit guide in the form of a wolf in the everfrost glacier maze. The spirit guide wants me to free four tormented spirits. I can free the dwarf no problem, I did it a few times to make sure the first time wasn't a fluke. Each of the other three however (I fought them all multiple times), I get disconnected every time. That's it for now. Thanks for listening.
 
Okay ;) You guys fixed my problem of disconnecting, and I appreciate that. However, we now have another problem. When I turn in the item to Frostwind after freeing everyone, I get this error:

Line: 0, File: none | error C0008: syntax error: missing ';' before function 'summonitem'

Ok, that should be fixed. Also fixed a couple other minor issues in Frostwind's script. Let me know if there are any further problems.
 
Thanks killspree. Finished that piece of armor, and am wearing it now. However, I cannot get her to respond now to the next set of bracketed words. It's kinda weird how it's worded really becasue there is a hyphen in it, and I don't know if that is causing the problem. I treid every combination I could think of tho with and without the hyphen so I could give you what it takes, but I just could not get her to respond. The words in the brackets are [half-boots].
 
Killspree I tried PMing you, but I got an error. I turned in the raw material for this step, but did not get the reward. I did get the prompt for the next step of armor tho. In game name is Teitr. Thanks.
 
I did the pant part of the quest, and got my leggings and exp, and some text telling of a [chest piece].

Straight after that I got some more exp and it said that I got a caftan, but I can't find it in my backpack!

Note that I didn't yet hear about how to make a chest piece and I can't get her to answer about the chest piece.

Now I'm trying to do the legging part again. Maybe my backpack was full or something.

edit: or not, as I don't have any patterns
I also tried hailing with the leggings in my inventory
 
I'm not quite understanding what the issue is, Lallafa. Did you get the quest for the chest piece or was the completed item immediately handed to you, and you didn't get it?

My best advice from here out is to make sure you have inventory space prior to continuing on in a quest because chances are an item will be placed into your inventory, and if you don't have room it will fail. I'll see about getting a workaround added in asap so that you can get all the required pieces for that step if you miss out due to having a full inventory.
 
I got the chest piece without doing anything for it..
..else than handing in the pre-tailored leggings (and getting the magical ones).

And even as I got it, I couldn't find it in my inventory.


In yet other words: After handing in the leggings I got some sciript that told I could make a [chest piece] but I never got to know how to make it. And the completion script triggered immediately.
 
Same here but I had an open slot and received the chest piece as well with the leggings turn=in.
 
a bit off topic, hope no one minds ...

I have forgotten what all I need to complete the quest I was on when the servers went down. All I remember is that the frozen shoulder blades were not dropping. Could someone tell me either how to get the quest giver to re-give me that part of the quest or could someone please tell me the items I need for the turn-in?

I am assuming you were doing the Tundrahide Shoulder Guards part and you still have the pattern and combine bag. To complete your set of Tundrahide Shoulder Guards you need to collect two large wooly spider carapace, two cords of snow leopard sinew, one pair of deeply frozen shoulder blades, two metal studs, and one jar of solvent.

sorry to bump an old topic however Primalist is not responding to my hails, I've gotten the spear, bracers and arms. I don't have the bag anymore but have all the components for my sholders ready to go.

I am assuming you have done the gloves as well since you said you have done the sleeves, correct?

If so, then target her and say shoulders and that should give you the bag again.

Thanks for the reply.

I had her targeted and said shoulders, shoulder, shoulderpad, shouldpads, tundrahide sholder, tundrahide shoulders, tundrahide shoulderpad, tundrahide shoulderpads and every combo I could think of, but alas she didn't give me any bag. And you were correct that I have also completed the gloves quest. I never did anything to lower the faction, not sure what else I could do.
