Had trouble getting started...EULA can't click ok

EDIT: Ok, ok...I had the problem with the being stuck on the Seizure Screen and not being able to click the Ok button.


To any others, run the SoDPatcher.exe again...under Advanced before you press Patch and Run, click Re-Patch all.

That seemed to fix it.
 
eep, me too...

still trying to figure out how to do this! when I get to the EULA screen, it just flashes the background of my desktop and the EULA screen, and I have control of my white mouse but not the mouse icon thingie for EQ. Ahhh, frustration! Any assistance? I did the repatch all. ;(

Sounds like you are in windowed mode. Try unchecking it from the advanced tab of the patcher. Or, when you're at the Eula screen; try alt, alt+tab, alt+enter to see if you can get control of the cursor. If your "in" that window you should also be able to tab once to the connect icon, and then hit enter to activate it - just an alternative to actually clicking it.

I've figured it out (for now) and everything seems to be working okay, aside from the fact that my laptop is too crappy, apparently, to load more than 2 detailed character types.

Anyone have tips for a good laptop that can run EQ and stuff??
