Great job...

After spending the last few weeks experiementing with the Eqemu server, I can really appreciate the amount of work that has been done in pathing and custom builds. Job well done.

Just out of curiosity, was there any custom programming done in reference to how smooth the mobs move?

Smooth?

..Mobs move smooth? These things twitch more violently than myself on dialup.

Thanks...

I think you have answered a question I had then. By loading the way point database into my server that was available at eqemu.com, I was hoping to get rid of some of the jerkyness in mob movement during even a local login. Most of the spawn was moving forward at depoping at their first waypoint while reacting extremely jerky. I was hoping to learn something from the addon, but it reacted the same way as when I was experiementing with the waypoints.

So, I obviosly noticed here on this server that the mobs were extending past their first waypoint without popping. Secondly, the movements were a whole heck of a lot smoother. Possibly the problem I am having is related to my CPU speed at not the program at all. I'm only running a PIII 450.

I think he means they move smooth on the X/Y angle, the Z angle is the problematic one.

Z axis...

You are right. I was commenting on xy cords. Actually, my problem with some of the tests I was running on the server software was CPU based. I think I'm trying to pour too much juice through my piii 450 LoL.

I did notice that some of the z axis in Winter's Roar weren't adjusted yet. I can imagine that would take quite a bit of time though concerning that most the NPC's are custom. I've been having quite a bit of fun on this server in my off time.
