Pretty much, this involved Lokdar, who has spent thousands of hours playing on a server that is pretty much entirely my work (without ever paying a dime for it I might add), insulting and belittling me for wasting a few hours of his time by making a small mistake. I told him to shut up about it, and he exploded into a furious ball of "I am entitled to whatever I demand from you".

So, good riddance, and goodbye.

And there's the log. To give you some quick backstory, Lokdar has been openly and uncaringly breaking the rules, expecting to get away with it because he's the leader of Ruin. Not to mention that he's gotten away with banable offenses more times than anyone else.

Frankly, Lokdar, you treat me and the server administration with exactly zero respect. You break the rules willfully and constantly, and expect to get away with it. You think that you are entitled to as much as my time as you desire, and when you don't get the special status that you claim others are getting (it's wrong when the special status isn't assigned to you/Ruin), you fly into a rage. You have called me biased, abusive and all manners of other things directly to my face. This log was just the one instance of you getting exactly the respect you give, since I didn't just ignore your snideness for once. Apparently you can't handle even a tiny percentage of what you deal out yourself on a constant basis.

The server will be better off without you.

The stigma against non-staff / non-maddctr posters posting in this thread is so thick it's palpable. I'ma post here anyway. Now I will sit back to watch the ensuing drama circlejerk as posters file in to make post-ban cheap shots, because they think drama is a good thing or because they had some personal beef revolving around what word is between the <> or for some reason or another.

Then I plan to post a reminder that public, people-makey-leavey drama sucks no matter how you slice it. If this banning makes you happy for any reason other than "I have personally been offended by maddctr", you suck.

Slight correction: Lokdar quit on his own accord. He was also banned because of his enormous list of offenses, though.

If breaker is gone then probably so am I. Playing for free here is still too much to pay for having to put up with the bullshit we suffer now on an almost nightly basis with certain other guilds and broken content. We always were facing a lose/lose situation here.

I had a whole lot more typed out here but it wouldn't matter worth a shit because it never seemed to to anyone before.

Ignorance is bliss and Dalaya should be renamed Tasinath and populated with grassy gnoles.

Obviously people still don't understand that even IF you are playing a game for free, doesn't exclude you from the server rules. If you break a rule knowingly, then you shouldn't even be allowed back here.

I was reported for telling that to a Legacy member when he was harrasing me in /tells. So guess I can understand that breaker was kinda heated up.

Sure this is a free server, sure there are some unfinished stuff, and all that, and I will acept (have no proof) that breaker has done "10 bannable things" but, being kinda boss irl... bosses have to be careful with what they say. A worker or a client is allowed to say "Shut the fuck up". A boss has to control him/herself and say "Please, be quiet and calm down". It's kinda expected from bosses to be cooler and beyond that.

Now, I understand both parts, but, why don't we all chill out, think about it, and talk tomorrow in a civilized manner? I, seriously, think it would be better here.
