The last post I made on the last thread I said people that ARE U.S. citizens should go tour some real shithole countries in the world before they bash the U.S. I didn't say anything about foreigners bashing us. All foreigners: You're welcome to talk all the smack you want since we're better than you lol. This little paragraph is in response to the dumbass that was talkin smack to me without reading what I said. Let's clarify one more time: Foreigners talk all the shit you want!!! Fellow U.S. citizens stfu or gtfo if you don't like it here, or do something to change things other than run your mouth.
Oh... And as for the comment about United States citizens thinking that we ARE America... When foreigners express their dislike for United States citizens isn't it usually by calling us "STUPID AMERICANS." ??? They don't say stupid United States citizens or stupid north americans or whatever... They say "STUPID AMERICANS" while referring specifically to United States citizens. If we're guilty of thinking we ARE America then so is the rest of the world for reinforcing it.
As to why we think we define America I think it's because our country was founded on all the great values brought here by the people trying to escape opression from their home countries. No one thinks Mexico or anywhere south of there is some great place to live with a wonderfully advanced society with a very high standard of living, at least not tmk. The only other place in North or South or Central America with a noteable economy is Canada.
Personally, I still think we should be allowed to make fun of the french lol. Maybe that's why we pick on Canada : / You guys speak french and owe a lot of your heritage to France. I think of Canada as our little brother though. He's fun to pick on but he's still family so you like him, you just don't always tell him so.
