I've always hated when this question was asked in previous games, but based on what you know, what's a decent class to solo with? :what:

I appreciate it. :keke:

Druids have the best versatility i love soloing on mine. Other good classes are necro, ranger and i guess wizard but there meh.

Rangers! They can solo AND they are wanted for raids/groups.

Beyond that, I would say Bard. Never enough bards!

id have to go with bards.. best by far. then maybe necro as they are pretty good during all the levels.. rangers are pretty sick once you can get yourself a decent bow and a steady supply of arrows. druids are not bad soloers but its a bit slower.

Beastlords are only good soloers if you know what your doing. As well since beastlords are terrible tps unless you have a good 2h it's just no fun soloing.

I'm gonna go with druid over necro simply for the fact that you can go pretty much anywhere you want within the space of a couple minutes. Necros are great at soloing, but being able to jump all over the world in an instant can't be overlooked as far as soloing goes.

With gate necks and mansion, it's really not that big of a deal. Druids start out with this edge in mobility, but necromancers go leaps and bounds ahead in actual solo ability in high end

Gate necks and mansion aren't inherent to the classes, so I was comparing the classes straight up. And since the poster was asking what's a good class to solo with, I was assuming the original poster meant through all levels. Since druids start getting self-ports at 19, that's pretty valuable in my opinion. They can start kiting at level 1 even. :-/

I don't think wizard is getting enough love. They have the basic functions needed, snare and root, and while they do not have dots, substitute huge blasts and stuff can die very quickly. With faster meditation now adays you can be back to FM in almost no time at all with JB.

Not to mention wizard snare is AE, which means you can tri-kite for very good exp. Wizards suffer indoors somewhat, but the root/snare ability, combined with stuns, nukes, and if you are patient unlimited nukes for around 500-600 damage (5 mana nukes), you can solo very well with a wizard.

Yeah, wizard kiting works like a charm, although not as well as druid kiting. The main problem are resists; wizards are burst DPS and can't afford many failed nukes because of mana.

Manaless nukes work OK but they're very slow. Often you'll have just a split second to move away once the nuke lands.

Still, it's fun smashing an enemy with a 10,000 damage ultimate blast.

Shaman are fairly poor soloers at several points in their life, esspecially 29 to 34, where it is nigh close to impossible.

But, yeah, around 65 we do ok. Not as well as a Necro, or in some cases Druid/Wizard, but ok.

However, given that someone asking the question is likely working on a first character and not asking whick of my stable of 65s should I solo with, I think it would be safe to leave Shaman off the list.
