Giant/Dragon Faction

I originally was going to post this under the bug list, but I am not quite sure if it is bug.

Increasing faction with the Giants and dragons from a Max KOS position seems impossible. I've cleared out 100's (possible 1000's) of Giants in GD, eastern wastes, and Stormkeep to raise my Dragon Faction. Further, I have attended a couple of Stormkeep raids. All to no avail, I am still very KoS, and it looks like I am going to stay that way.

I am just curious if Faction is indeed broke, or if I am not trying hard enough. I remember Melwin saying that it took 22 Rymaz kills to go up from Max KoS to dubious, if this is true, it does scare me a bit! Any insight would be great. Thanks for looking into this Issue!
 
Makes sense from a non-technical POV. You've systematically wiped out dragons -- it'll take a hell of a lot to get back in their good graces. They don't like you, they don't want to like you, and if this was realistic, they'd never really like you, regardless of how many frost giant royalty you smacked down.
 
No. It's not broken. The minimum is just very, very low. You will need to work a long time to recover your faction after bottoming it.

I agree. From a realistic standpoint, I would never be trusted enough to become their ally, but they might tolerate me if I’ve proven myself reformed.

This could be related to a murderer who is sentenced to life but is subsequently released after 20 years on the account of good behavior. After 20 years, the factions at hand (prison/form of government) feel that the prisoner has reformed themselves and make a cautious decision to release them back into society.

Even with that said, if someone murdered my family and got released after 20 years, I would still find the bastard and cram a fork up their nose.
